What we look for in applicants.
---We divide members into two groups. In a way, this can be seen as a spectrum of two opposite ends. However, the key is, that anyone within this spectrum will be making some contribution to the fleet.
1.) Be an active and social member. By this, you could next to never play NF/ be crappy/low leveled. Maybe once in a blue moon do you grind. However, you are found either on vent or perhaps on the forums as being quite fun to be around and are around very often....... Essentially, a forum/vent whore >.>
2.) A relatively inactive but competitive player. As in, we almost never see you on during normal play times. However, when it comes down to competitions, you are there more often than not.
These can be seen as the two extreme ends of the spectrum of what we look for in members. Anywhere in-between is fine. Essentially, if you are in this fleet, you must add something to the fleet as a whole.
-How to get in.
--- Make a proper application. Make thorough , thought out answers to questions. Also, stay active on the forums to answer any questions we may have for you.
--- The main way to get into the fleet is to get people to know you. Be on vent often, and speak with us(if you can). You could be the crappiest play known to man, if we like the way you handle yourself, you can get in. Vent is the end all and be all for your chances of getting into the fleet.
-What we look for in members.
--- These are general expectations of our members. Simply put, if you infringe these often, you will get kicked. We like the general mood and atmosphere created by these rules. If you disturb it, don’t expect to stay in the fleet very long.
- Don’t be an ass. This is a very broad description. Trust us though, if you are being one, we’ll let you know.
- Do not break any TNF rules. We will defend members who we believe are wrongly accused of anything. However, if we see reasonable evidence that you broke a rules, we won’t really give half a damn.
- Drama is a no. If you’re someone who gets involved in it often, make sure it is you and you alone. Do not allow something that will get the whole fleet involved.
- Behavior in-game. Shut it with the trash talk. I know there are thing out there that annoy us, however, the place to let out such things are on our vent. Do not say things in game that could get you banned.
- Don’t take shit personally. WE make fun of each other, often. I am probably the least respected fleet leader in game in terms of what members say to me. The thing is, take it with a bit o’ salt, and poke some fun back. If you take shit personally, you won’t last very long in this fleet.
- As it stands, our ventrilo is closed. We give you the info based on a trust. Do not give out the vent info to other players. If you are not a vent admin, do not give out the vent info to anyone who is not a member.
- Blunt-ness. There is a lot of it in this fleet. The reason you are a member of this fleet is because we feel you can fit in and become friends with members within it, As such, we expect blunt honesty between members. Also, we expect people to take it as the truth and not take it as an insult. What keeps this fleet together is that people are honest with each other and handle things in a respectful manner.
Obi side note: if u are offended by sexual humor your pretty much f**ked from the start (I was gonna name names but i may as well have quoted the whole roster lol)
If something is bothering you, let it out. We should be on a basis where members know each other and can be honest with each other. Of course, there is a fine line between blunt honesty and flaming. Flaming will get you a boot very fast.
The basis of this fleet isn’t that we kick ass and take names. Its based on that we all like each other and have become members because of it. We treat each other in the same way we would treat a close friend in real life. Keep that in mind when you decide to join this fleet.
This is what you can expect when you join. If this seems like the type of atmosphere that you would look for, then apply away.
